Compasio is proud to partner with SFAC (Strengthening Families for Abandoned Children) to offer expertise and training in family-based care for all children. This UK-based charity was founded by Mick Pease, a seasoned social worker and world-renowned expert in family-based care alternatives.
Since 1997, SFAC has worked in 30 countries conducting seminars, workshops, and consultancy with children’s care workers, social workers, psychologists, judges, lawyers, NGOs (faith and non faith based) and governments. They have coached organizations and children’s homes through the transition of care models and the development of social programs that support children living in safe families.
Mick and his staff were instrumental in Compasio’s own transformation to family-based care and we have the utmost respect for their work.
