Sojourn (ˈsōjərn): a temporary stay along a journey.

Sojourn Studio is a place of healing and transformation for women on the Thailand–Myanmar border.  Since 2017, Sojourn Studio has empowered women and young mothers to earn income, support their families, and discover their immense God-given value. Teen apprentices build savings for their futures, while women in our day program gain the opportunity to provide for their children and take meaningful steps toward long-term stability.

Each piece is formed by hand, detailed with gold or silver luster, and thoughtfully assembled, reflecting both the craftsmanship and the woman behind it. Our work goes beyond creating beautiful products. It is about growing in confidence, expanding opportunity, and helping women move forward with hope and purpose.

In Myanmar, there is a blessing spoken over youth: Lay le ya meaning hope-filled forward motion. It captures exactly what we see every day at Sojourn Studio as women step into new beginnings and brighter futures.
